FireWare has its origins in the world of theatre. A world of interpersonal contact. And we strongly believe in that. But, we’re not blind. We also see that the world of virtual reality, mixed reality and augmented reality is a fact of life in today’s society.
All these techniques offer many wonderful possibilities. What if we were to combine the world of theatre and experience with these new techniques? Then really beautiful things can arise! That’s why FireWare and Velicus are going to cooperate with each other!
Cooperation by being vulnerable
“If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with something original”, a famous saying of Sir Ken Robinson. However, it is also a statement that connects FireWare and Velicus. Both companies do not yet know where the cooperation will eventually lead. But, it will be cool! Developing new training solutions together involves daring to be vulnerable. A quality that both organisations have. Velicus has a lot of knowledge of the virtual world and mixed reality. FireWare has won its spurs in developing physical simulation solutions that appeal to all the senses. A golden combination!
The first results are already visible: and for free!
The first products are already being launched. What about the – FREE – table top solution that can be used in combination with the HoloLens 2? The FireWare Safety Library is adapted by Velicus to be used in mixed reality. How cool is that?
The Apollo LED training fire extinguishers are now also used in such a way that you can extinguish with a real training fire extinguisher in a mixed reality world. Spending a lot of time getting to know the controllers is passé. And what if the FireWare Interactive Incident Trainer (F.I.T.T.) from FireWare is going to work together with the applications of Velicus? Then the possibilities are endless! All these solutions will be tested and introduced to the market in the near future.
Already in the showroom

The collaboration is the first step towards a new generation of training solutions. Now we know where it started. Where it will end: no idea.
