FireWare has connected itself to the Firefighters without Borders foundation as a “gold partner” for a 5 year period in 2015. The aim of this organisation is to collect firefighting materials in the Netherlands and make these available in parts of the world where fire services are doing considerably less well. FireWare supports the Firefighters without Borders financially, as well as with training materials and staging training for their instructors.

FireWare has a unique collection project for old training materials. Training materials which are no longer being used in the Netherlands can often still be used in other countries.
You can hand in your old training materials with FireWare. Properly functioning training materials will be checked and stored at FireWare. These materials will then be made available to the Firefighters without Borders foundation for their different projects as and when the need arises. This allows us to avoid a storage problem at Firefighters without Borders.
Training materials which are no longer fit for use are separated and recycled. The metal parts are sold and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Firefighters without Borders foundation. The costs for removal of the remaining waste is at FireWare’s expense.
