Cookies on the FireWare website
What are cookies:
When you visit our website, we place cookies. These are small (temporary) text files for your PC. Cookies ensure that you do not have to make certain settings every time. Like, for example, your language preferences. Cookies also help us to see how the website is used. That's how we keep improving. And FireWare is a commercial organisation: that's why we use cookies for our own marketing purposes.
We also use other tools, such as web beacons and javascript. This allows us to do great things like remember the contents of the shopping cart or show previously viewed products.
In order for the website to work optimally, it is necessary that you accept the cookies. This can be done in two ways: just keep browsing or press okay when the cookie is announced.
What kind of cookies do we use?
Necessary cookies:
As the name indicates, these are cookies that are indispensable for the proper functioning of the website. Think of functionalities such as shopping cart and checkout.

This allows us to collect data about the use of our website with the help of third parties. This information will enable us to improve our website. Among other things, the following data will be stored:
- IP address
- Technical features such as the browser you are using (such as Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox) and the resolution of your computer screen and which device you are using;

- When and for how long you visit or use the website;
- If you use the functionalities of the webshop. For example, making a wish list, placing an order or viewing previous purchases.
- Which pages of our website you visit.
With this information we keep track, for example, of how many visitors our website receives, how long someone stays and which pages are visited and in which order.
Social media and external cookies:
Social media cookies are placed by the social media websites themselves. When you click on a social media button in our webshop, a social media cookie is placed. The social media party can recognize your IP address at the moment you want to share a page of our webshop. For the cookies that the social media parties place and the data that they collect, we refer to the statements that these parties provide on their own websites. We recommend that you regularly review the following privacy and cookie statements:

You can also disable or delete cookies. This is different for each browser. Here’s how you do that for the most common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari (iOS), Safari (macOS). Please note that the website no longer works optimally when you disable the cookies.
