On 1 and 2 May we visited the Ontario Fire Chiefs Show in Toronto. Together with a team that included Ruth Lee and our distributor A.L.G. Safety, the Canadian Fire Officers familiarised themselves with our products.
It was a fun 2 days that attracted a lot of interest. The Mini Flashover trainer and the Vesta extinguishing trainer were especially popular. The compact format of the Vesta and the serious flames it produces impressed those present. Though formerly burning old buildings was still permitted, the practise has been banned nearly everywhere over the past few years. And that certainly offers opportunities for the FireSales products on the market.
We were also delighted by the sight of so many kinds of special fire engines! Issues such as occupational health are clearly current, as 2 other stand holders had saunas on offer. In short, an unusual experience!
