The Stratus smoke generator (2600 W) is the giant among smoke generators. The sky really is the limit! Within the assortment of FireWare, the smoke machine is the most powerful of its kind. The Stratus can easily and quickly fill a large room like a garage, shed or swimming pool full of smoke. Even an airplane hangar is no problem.

If you put the Stratus on its back, you can create a vertical plume of smoke. This creates a realistic layer of smoke on the ceiling. This powerful smoke generator is therefore very suitable for staging large industrial fires, for example. You can also use the smoke machine in combination with a fan. This way, you can direct the smoke and let it descend behind the crew for example. It's a handy way to raise awareness about the dangers of smoke!

Adjustable output

The Stratus comes standard with a wired remote control with a cable of 10 metres. Couple multiple cables together to increase the range to more than 100 metres. A wireless remote control with a range of up to 100 metres is available separately. The maximum smoke output of the Stratus is 2000 m³/min. The output is adjustable from 1 to 99%.

Set the Stratus to an output of 48% to continuously add smoke to the scenario. Then the smoke output is 600 m³/min maximum. The Stratus is also equipped with a timer. This allows the smoke generator to do its work at the training location during the briefing. Connect the Stratus to the DMX network and control it centrally.

Don't underestimate the power of this smoke machine. It requires 2600 W. So you can only connect 1 Stratus to a free power circuit. But that still leaves room for the fire spots or the silkflame to complete your staging.

Developed for fire brigade training

The Stratus is particularly sought after by large fire brigades. Its output is twice that of the FireWare Cumulus. Thanks to the stainless steel housing, this smoke generator can take a beating. For this reason, the smoke machine is often used during outdoor exercises for fire brigades. The Stratus is also used to stage very challenging scenarios within the framework of the fight against terrorism. Or think of guaranteeing or improving assistance during major accidents. This device is very well suited for exercises in traffic tunnels. For such exercises, you might want to consider replacing the Medium smoke fluid with the Fire Training Intensive or Fire Training Extreme version.

At the front, the Stratus is equipped with a Storz coupling. Simply connect a smoke hose, aiming piece or Storz adapter to it. This significantly expands the possibilities of this powerful smoke generator. Direct the smoke to an office above a garage with the aiming piece. Or use a Smoke Hose to position the Stratus some way from your scenario, so that the fire can be extinguished. A fire in a stable of an old thatched farmhouse with a huge amount of smoke, the outdoor smoke liquid is perfect for that.

Loop power through for a realistic flame picture

Just like the Cumulus, the Stratus has another advantage: it can loop power! A Neutrik connecter can loop power from the Stratus to, for example, a firespot. With this, you can easily simulate a very realistic flame for a real fire drill.

The Stratus smoke generator (2600 W) comes with a 2-year guarantee. The smoke machine comes assembled in a handy plastic case for transport. In addition to the smoke generator, this case contains 5 litres of medium smoke fluid and a wired remote control. Don't always need that much power for your exercises? That's no problem.
