FireWare was given the task by CCB group Amsterdam to help design two new boiler rooms. The interior design was somewhat out-dated. The task was to create nice looking and realistic boiler rooms, where scenarios can be changed easily. FireWare, of course, stepped up to the challenge!
One of the rooms has been equipped as an office, the second as a server room. This combination can serve many different target groups. With the magnetic walls it is possible to “stick” different objects and decorative elements to the wall. Changing the interior has now become a piece of cake. And cleaning is done in a blink of an eye!
From a sustainability perspective we first looked at which components could be reused. That way, with a minor adaption, the existing gas burners could still be used. This considerately brought down the costs. FireWare developed a server rack especially for this project, with many challenging scenarios. All the doors can really be opened, and with the flame adjuster the difficulty rate of the scenarios can be regulated. A real scoop for the CCB group!
Thanks to the atmospheric lighting and the well thought-out use of colours, a luxurious and realistic training facility has been created, where all the intended learning objectives can be achieved.
