October 6th came around again. It was time for the FireWare party with colleagues, partners, and children: FireFest! This time, the edition was extra special; we were celebrating the fifth edition of FireFest and the fact that FireWare has been around for 20 years. In short: one big celebration!
20 years of FireWare
We couldn’t let the fact that FireWare is turning 20 this year pass by unnoticed. A special gift was, of course, necessary. On behalf of the FireWare colleagues, the founders of FireWare, Sef Hendrickx and Jacqueline van Zanen, received a special anniversary plaque!
Cooking Workshop
Kookers.nl was once again part of the event this year. They brought good meat and delicious fresh vegetables. The cooking workshop for FireWare could begin. Young and old, everyone contributed! Delicious salmon steaks, grilled vegetables, and juicy pulled pork. All prepared by ourselves. The food tastes even better that way! Our thanks go to another successful and well-organized cooking workshop. Everyone enjoyed it!
Double celebration
It was a double celebration this time because FireFest also had something to celebrate. FireFest has been around for 5 years! FireWare colleague Merijn gave a beautiful speech for the 5th time, and that had to be celebrated too! A nice little gift was certainly in order. Thank you, Merijn, for all your kind words over the past years… Here’s to 10 years of FireFest!
