The Victima training dummy, an innovative creation by FireWare, offers unparalleled possibilities for water accident training. Developed in collaboration with the Haaglanden Safety Region, this dummy is designed to realistically simulate a wide range of emergency situations.
Realism and Functionality
Victima excels in realism thanks to its adjustable joints, lifelike weight, and detailed anatomy. The Victima training dummy can float, sink, and hover in water by adding lead or water. This allows for the simulation of various scenarios, from recovery to rescue, combined with medical emergencies through realistic wound sleeves. This versatility enables first responders to train their skills under realistic conditions, which is essential for their preparation for real-life emergencies.
Preparing for Reality
For a fire department diver, finding a body can be a traumatic experience. Focused training on such situations better prepares a diver for reality. A realistic training dummy that behaves like a real human body in water is crucial for this purpose.
The hard plastic torso, immune to mold, includes resuscitation functionality. Silicone wound sleeves for legs, arms, and head can be added for realistic injuries.
Collaboration with Haaglanden Safety Region
The Haaglanden Safety Region could not find the ideal training dummy for dive training. Therefore, we joined forces and started working together. We researched the scenarios the dummy should be suitable for and found implementation partners. Medical-X developed the wound sleeves, for example. Together, we arrived at the ideal solution.
