The didactic escape room "Rescue Anne", developed by FireWare in collaboration with OABv, has won the Inspiration Award 2018. A four-member jury took this decision on behalf of the Board of Stichting Het Oranje Kruis. We are very proud of this award!
Escape room "Rescue Anne"
The story of "Rescue Anne" is unique and moving. For over a century, the spirit of nurse Anne has been wandering through three identical escape rooms at OABv in The Hague. Because of Anne, 4 patients have already died. Can the students make the right decisions and escape in time?
This project was developed for cooperation and recertification of first aiders. All subjects of an in-house emergency training are therefore covered: life-saving actions, fire, evacuation and communication. In addition, skills are also tested. For example, putting on bandages. Students will have to work closely together to escape!
Inspiration award 2018
Innovative ideas, high entertainment and challenges were at the basis of the positive opinion of the jury. "Rescue Anne" makes first aid possible for everyone. The exciting game element of an escape room is combined with training first aid and in-house emergency knowledge. We look back on pleasant collaboration and a successful project.
