The 2023 Annual International Education Symposium of ARFF – Aircraft Rescue & FireFighting – was an eye-opening experience. For the first time in FireWare’s history, the company shared its ideas and vision in the United States. Read below to find out how it went!
The booth was equipped with a small selection of our products, such as the FireSpot, Burning Smell Spray, and the Nebula AR Smoke Simulation Mask V2. Hundreds of participants active in aviation safety and firefighting stopped by to chat and take a look at the FireWare products.
On the second day, FireWare founder Sef Hendrickx took the stage in front of hundreds of people. Speaking in what he considers the most spoken language in the world – bad English. Sef talked about the history of FireWare and demonstrated how FireWare brings simulations to life all over the world.
Here’s something that might surprise you. FireWare and its products offer a whole new perspective on creating realistic simulations in the U.S. Besides the use of a smoke machine, training predominantly involves real flames and smoke. This brought many new insights, and there’s a strong desire to enable first responders in the U.S. to practice with simulated fire, smoke, and other incidents as realistically as possible.
This serves as a strong motivation for FireWare to explore the U.S. market. How FireWare plans to do this? More on that soon, because there’s some exciting news coming your way!
