On November 15, 2019, the Dutch Eastern district organized the inspiration session “Staying competent” at the Troned Safety Campus. During this day, professionals from various safety regions came together to learn from each other about their competence.
The aim of the day was to share information about fun, smart and innovative solutions in the field of each other’s professional competence. Therefore, a marketplace was created, consisting of a VR square, an outside area, a game corner and a general part. Together this was good for at least 35 different concepts and solutions! In addition, there were organised numerous sessions on, for example, basic fire-fighting principles and verification.
Inspiring professional
Contributing to the professional competence of care providers is part of the FireWare DNA. It was therefore very inspiring for us to see all the ideas and concepts of the safety regions. Both during the lectures and during the breaks, it was great to talk to people with the same passion and drive.
On our own stand we were able to show the new Incident Server and Incident Client to the professionals. Both offer a great solution to enable dynamic stagings and more complex exercises. The communication game “the Roving Reporter” also received a lot of positive feedback. Of course it was also a great opportunity to bring our end of year offers to the attention again. These are still valid until January 21!
We look back on a day full of inspiration with passionate people. We are therefore already looking forward to the next edition. Special thanks go to the Dutch East district and Het Instituut Fysieke Veiligheid for the organization!
