FireWare takes to the water! Together with the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution (KNRM), Ruth Lee's latest training mannequin was put to its first exercise in the Netherlands. This exercise marks a new step in realistically simulating victims with reduced consciousness in the maritime sector!
The Advanced Water Rescue Manikin
Ruth Lee's Advanced Water Rescue Manikin, with its hyper-realistic appearance and buoyancy, offers countless possibilities for various exercises. These exercises include intubating the training mannequin and performing CPR. Additionally, simulating both dry and wet drowning, and making the Advanced Water Rescue Manikin foam at the mouth, provide extra opportunities for creating the most realistic scenarios of a drowning victim.
After consulting with KNRM Station Medemblik, FireWare was able to demonstrate the Advanced Water Rescue Manikin during a training evening. And what better way to do that than with a series of practical exercises?
A Dive into Realism
The rescuers put the training mannequin into the water, secured it, and performed CPR. After a lot of effort and hard work, the volunteers provided valuable feedback and reflection to see how such realistic training mannequins can make an even greater contribution to becoming and remaining proficient within the KNRM. But it is evident to everyone that this level of realism adds significant value!
Our thanks go to the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution for giving FireWare the opportunity to showcase the Advanced Water Rescue Manikin in action for the first time.
In addition to the amazing photos, we also have an impression video of this informative training evening, where our connection with the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution has reached a new level!
