At the Pater Geurtjensweg in Tilburg, work is in progress for the realisation of a new training centre: Safety Village. And it is almost here! The Central and West Brabant Safety Region will soon be the proud owner of a beautiful training facility, where firefighters can gain and maintain their professional skills in an inspiring environment. But also an environment where hospitality is key.
Various organisations are working very hard to making this dream come true. Three years ago, FireWare could also contribute by an experiential design and the integration of the learning and teaching goals. A training centre can become so much more when the all-in experience is given a suitable role in it, especially when catering to the synergy between experience and achieving the learning and teaching goals. When that happens, issues are faced that make all the difference in a thorough course – a focus on dilemmas, leadership, realism and expertise!
Progress images
The photos give a good impression of the progress of the construction of Safety Village Tilburg. All the objects have been installed and designed relative to each other so as to create a logical entity. In the coming period, the site will be further decorated. It will not be long before the gates of one of the most beautiful training centres in the Netherlands open!
