From 8 to 13 June, the Hannover Messe was entirely devoted to Interschutz. This large-scale international trade fair is held every 5 years. FireWare was also present this year.
A small Dutch village has been realized on the outside area. There was a lot to see in the different houses. From the scale model of Smokey's trailer “Tame the Flame” to a simulated fire in a 1-room house. This complete with I-pad control of all light, sound and smoke effects. Outside, space had been made available to ignite the Vesta extinguisher trainer with Add-ons and a plume of smoke regularly went into the air while demonstrating the smoke machines.
Also present at the stand was one of the Modular training units that has been realized for ACM Opleidingen. Many were impressed by the beautiful finishes with an eye for detail and the easy control of all effects with one remote control.
Ruth Lee was also present in one of the houses to introduce their worldwide clientele to the new material that the training manikins are made of today. This polyester type is 4x more robust than the current canvas body and is also waterproof. This makes cleaning a lot easier and replaces the separate Hazmat PVC line.
The team enjoyed all the attention and the diverse nationalities. We would like to be there again for the next edition!
