In September 2009, the northern part of the province of Noord-Holland was fictitiously flooded. Emergency services from home and abroad helped many who were in trouble because of the water. FireWare staged a large number of scenarios for this disaster. Frans Anthonisse of the North Holland Safety Region is satisfied with the work done.
"FireWare showed that, besides fire, it can also simulate very diverse scenarios. Because of the company's theatre background, building a flooded campsite, houses in the water and a sect island realistically was no problem. I had worked with FireWare before, but I never realised that they also realise this kind of large-scale scenarios," says Anthonisse.
