In the mission statement of FireWare, we have described as a core value that we help emergency responders to become and remain competent. Of course, for many professions, you’re not finished after your education, but regular intermediate training is part of the job you practice. That’s why at FireWare, we value regularly hosting our dealers, training them on our new products, sharing the latest insights on simulations, and of course, learning from their experiences.
This week it was the turn of our Danish and Swedish dealer OptiSafe! This company has been a long-term partner of FireWare and is the importer for both the Danish and Swedish markets. We had the pleasure of welcoming Jens Mortensen from Denmark and Niclas Elverdam from Sweden on Monday, June 3, and Tuesday, June 4.
According to OptiSafe, they greatly benefited from their visit to Wieringerwerf; knowledge that had faded was refreshed, new products were reviewed, and ongoing projects were discussed.
Additionally, and not unimportantly, personal bonds were strengthened during a pleasant dinner in the evening. We had a lot of fun together and gave them a typical Dutch gift that made them very happy: A FireWare box filled with “schuddebuikjes,” licorice, and stroopwafels!
All in all, we can look back on a successful visit from the north, and Jens and Niclas are well-equipped once again to assist the emergency responders in Sweden and Denmark!
