A partnership is about daring to be vulnerable, celebrating successes together and learning from mistakes together. Being angry with each other from time to time, but also being able to make up for it. Making up beautiful things together. And above all, working together on what FireWare stands for and stands for. That is to create realistic training environments for emergency responders around the world so they can work properly on their professional competence. So that they can make a difference when it matters.

KWK Housing Directors
More and more trainers and safety regions understand that developing exercise facilities is complex. Whereas KWK focuses primarily on designing, defining and realizing the housing, FireWare focuses on achieving the learning objectives within such an exercise facility. FireWare is located 180 degrees on the other side of KWK, which is what makes the cooperation and partnership so valuable. 
Medical-X
FireWare and Medical-X share a passion for realistic exercise. Creating situations that approached reality as closely as possible. Situations where specialists who are there for another can work on their professional competence. Medical X does this by manufacturing extremely realistic and advanced medical simulators. FireWare by creating extremely realistic training environments…
Both companies do not yet know where the collaboration will ultimately lead. But, cool it will be! For example, we have already worked together on the Victima: a realistic all-round manikin. But work is also underway on more sophisticated solutions where environments are projected around a victim, as with the FireWare FIIT.
Developing new training solutions together also involves daring to be vulnerable. A feature that both companies have! Medical-X has vast knowledge of advanced, realistic training manikins for practicing medical procedures for different target groups. FireWare has made its mark in developing physical simulation solutions that appeal to all senses. This makes the collaboration a golden combination: Training medical skills, on a high-tech simulator in an extremely realistic environment that provides context. It doesn’t get any better than that!
Mentally Aware
During the COVID-19 crisis, Paul and Jasper Weijling of Mentally Aware and Sef Hendrickx of FireWare experimented with remote teaching from the FireWare studio. At the coffee table during one of the breaks, the conversation turned to the connections between staging and mental awareness in trauma-sensitive occupations. The conclusion was that this topic has not yet received the attention it deserves in the field. From that, a partnership emerged that focuses on the desired and undesired mental effects of realistic staging. 
Rentman
Maintaining and managing exercise materials has challenges. And FireWare should know: with one of the largest rental fleets of exercise equipment, we know the ropes. Rentman makes wonderful software to enable the management, planning and maintenance of exercise materials. This software finds its origins in the entertainment industry.
Rentman and FireWare have partnered to create beautiful workable solutions for managing, scheduling and maintaining exercise equipment. Rentman’s software combined with FireWare’s knowledge ensures that together we can offer great solutions for trainers and safety regions that want to get a grip on their exercise materials. From software to implementation. 
Defense CBRN Center – Total Force Genius
The higher the realism is during an exercise, the better prepared emergency responders are for an actual incident. This realism is created in part by good imagery, interactivity, the creation of dilemmas and attention to detail (seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting, smelling). All this, of course, with the intended learning and teaching goals in mind.
Achieving this high degree of realism while maintaining maximum alignment with the learning and teaching objectives requires intensive collaboration. Within the Dutch armed forces, a separate task force for military – civilian cooperation has been established: Total Force Genie (TFG). TFG gives substance to the adaptive military; performing military tasks shoulder to shoulder with civilian allies. FireWare is one of these civilian allies. This is how we work together to create a safe world.
As a specialist in creating realistic training environments for emergency responders, FireWare is making an important contribution to perfecting and further developing the NTC. Therefore, a course has begun in which the FireWare team is being retrained on CBRNe incidents by the NTC. Conversely, the NTC team is being retrained on simulation technology by FireWare. Thus, together, we ensure that the bar of realistic practice is raised ever higher. 
Tunnel Safety Knowledge Platform
The Tunnel Safety Knowledge Platform (KPT) is the one-stop shop for all questions about tunnel safety in the Netherlands. The platform shares existing Dutch and foreign knowledge about tunnel safety in an accessible and proactive way with all persons and organizations professionally involved in tunnels and tunnel safety. Realistic and non-destructive staging of incidents in tunnels is complex. FireWare is pleased to share knowledge gained from multidisciplinary tunnel incident simulations over the years. FireWare’s team can also provide support with staging incidents in tunnels. Including fires with realistic smoke development. 
B20
B20 is a professional, reliable and accredited psychological consulting firm. The firm specializes entirely in assessment, training and coaching within the Security, Disaster and Crisis Management sector.
Combining B20’s psychological knowledge with FireWare’s knowledge of creating realistic training environments creates enormous added value for the end user. In particular, cooperation is sought for the more advanced and heavier simulations and assessments. The result: a series of experiences where even the most seasoned and experienced professionals can really work on their proficiency.
