Participants are given a very unique experience at FireControl. They witness an accident in one of the two scenario cabins... They are then challenged to provide an adequate response.
Unique experience
A realistic training environment is created in the scenario cabins through the use of projection, animation, decor, magnetic walls and light and sound effects. The instructor can select a scenario and influence it if necessary with an iPad. In this way, each participant is given an individual challenge!
With a press of the button, the victim gets hit by a car or his fingers get caught up in a circular saw. Should an ambulance be called once the accident has been reported? That is a breeze with the iPad too. The light and sound effects adapt automatically to the scenario. The instructor does not have to worry about making any adjustments there.
Full range of tense situations
Each participant experiences the full range of a tense situation: from the moment an incident occurs and responding to it, to the hand-off to the ambulance, we cover all phases of the incident. Thanks to the large number of different scenarios available, each participant will have his or her own training experience. You can choose to work with a LOTUS victim or a reanimation doll. The character in the animations is also easy to recognise as the reanimation doll.
Observing
The other participants can observe all the activities in the scenario cabins from the waiting room with the aid of an advanced video system. Of course, we also take pictures and video for a captivating and effective evaluation. Lessons can be brought up quickly with a large touchscreen and the FireSales Safety Library, so that the instructors can give explanations tailored to your situation.
Future proof
The training environments can be changed easily. This is accomplished by a unique combination of magnetic walls and projection. This enables us to create a different environment for each season. They may be indoor environments or outdoor environments. There is currently one cabin that is set in an urban setting and the iPad can be used to switch the other cabin from an office environment to a workshop.
