It’s a common story: ‘I’m just back from work, still have to eat dinner and put the kids to bed before setting up a training exercise at 19.30! How am I going to fit it all in?’ Once you’ve completed our fire and accident staging course you’ll be able to create a realistic scenario within five minutes that will prove very challenging to every water tender crew member. That’s a promise!
Our Basics of Staging I is our most popular course. You will learn the basics of staging scenarios and you get to create your own training session at the end. The course is low threshold and has been specially designed for people who play a role in creating training sessions. After covering some of the theoretical aspects, you’ll be devoting the rest of the time to real-life exercises, and once you’ve completed the course you will be able to stage your own realistic fire or accident scenarios.

Of course, your group is welcome at our training centre in Wieringerwerf. But, we understand that a training at your own location is most practical. This can be a care institution or fire station, for example. We work as much as possible with your own practice materials. Moreover, we bring along extra staging material free of charge, so that several people can work on the assignments at the same time. Highly instructive!
The training is given on one day. This can also be in the weekend. This flexibility ensures that there is always a suitable time to train your stenographers! In consultation it is also possible to divide the training over 2 evenings. We currently only offer this option in the Netherlands. The basic price of staging training in the Netherlands includes travel and accommodation costs of the instructor. For training abroad, we work on the basis of a surcharge.
The Basic Staging Training I is provided as standard for group sizes up to a maximum of 8 people. The training dates are determined in consultation. When organising several staging training courses within 1 year, we offer a discount. If you want to participate with a group of up to 16 people, two instructors will be used. You can also participate as an individual. Look in the training agenda on our website for the (open) registration dates.
