The In-Depth Staging Training III takes a closer look at the problems surrounding major training exercises and staging. This training course is completely focussed on preparing for a training exercise. Complete command of the Basic Staging Training I and the Follow Up Staging Training II is assumed.

In-depth Staging Training III

You will receive a comprehensive theory lesson, with the emphasis on the organisation of staging, counter-play and the management of the stagers before, during and after the training exercise. You will learn to create a scenario from beginning to end, including the professional learning objectives and the various different possible results.

You will subsequently go about preparing a number of exercises yourself. These exercises will include interactive, dynamic and static elements. The results will subsequently be discussed. Each participant will need to bring along a laptop with office package for this purpose.

In the course we will, among other things, work on:

• Preparing for (major) staging;
• Creating a scenario from beginning to end;
• Dynamic staging: more complex exercises;
• Interactive staging: anticipating the manner of deployment during an exercise;
• Counter-play: setting up, organising and managing;
• Analysing the interaction between the training objective, the staging and the dynamic staging.
