Offshore Training Manikin – Specially Developed for Rescue Exercises in Shipping

The Offshore training manikin has been specifically developed for rescue exercises in the maritime sector. It is designed for scenarios on oil rigs, offshore wind farms, and for simulating accidents during the transportation of passengers by helicopters or boats. The Offshore training manikin is a highly versatile hybrid manikin that can be used for dragging exercises, height rescues, and even limited use in open water.

The body is made of nylon mesh fabric, allowing it to be used in water. Only the head remains above water. However, be sure to put a life jacket on the manikin, as the Man Overboard manikins have greater buoyancy in open water than this training manikin. The dry weight is approximately 60 kg, increasing to around 95 kg when fully saturated with water.

The Offshore training manikin is realistically manageable and suitable for height rescues using a harness. The manikin wears a strong and replaceable overall. The training manikins are equipped with sturdy rubber boots, which can be replaced separately if damaged. The Offshore training manikin has a realistic weight-to-height ratio.
