Take full control of the scenario right from your pocket. Your phone (or tablet) becomes your remote control, allowing you to quickly intervene in the scenario’s progression. If the response takes too long, you can easily expand the fire. If the response is efficient, you can reduce the fire’s intensity. This is escalation and de-escalation made simple.
The central control unit of the Small Simulation Set is the Pandora’s Box 230. It creates a Wi-Fi network that you can connect to by scanning a QR code. A web interface will appear on your phone or tablet, allowing you to control all elements of your setup. Operate up to three flame effects, a smoke machine, and sound for simulations previously reserved for experts.
The Small Simulation Set is perfect for recreating small thermal runaway scenarios, such as a burning bike battery. The FireSpot MK2 includes a special flame effect that simulates the repeated explosion of battery cells. The Pandora’s Box 230 offers matching sound effects, letting you hear cells explode and vent. Combine these elements in your scenario, and training for the energy transition becomes a breeze.
Beyond thermal runaways, the Small Simulation Set offers endless possibilities. Your imagination is the only limit. The set includes two flame effects: the FireSpot MK2 and the Mini Silkflame. Paired with the Pandora’s Box 230, these allow you to simulate small but dynamic fires, such as indoor blazes, kitchen fires, or fires in technical installations. The two independently controlled flame effects let you scale the fire up or down as needed.
The Pandora’s Box 230 is the heart of this set. This magical box manages your entire simulation. It supports up to three flame effects and connects to your smoke machine. The two included external speakers ensure the sound is positioned exactly where you need it. Simply scan the QR code to connect to the Pandora’s Box Wi-Fi network and access the web interface. Here, you can control each component of your setup individually. This provides unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to activate, deactivate, or adjust components during the exercise. You can even pair an Apollo LED extinguisher (not included) for interactive extinguishing!
A great simulation engages as many senses as possible. It’s not just about what you see but what you experience. That’s why sound is a must-have. With the Pandora’s Box 230, you get a library of over 30 sound effects, ranging from fire noises to cries for help and challenging environmental sounds. You can even play up to six sounds simultaneously!
This updated FireSpot features eight built-in simulation programs, ensuring you always have the perfect flame effect for the situation. Shine the spots through a column of smoke from behind to create the most realistic flames. One of the built-in programs simulates thermal runaway, replicating exploding battery cells. Its special lens system and bi-color LEDs deliver realistic light distribution. The powerCON connector allows waterproof extension and direct connection to the Pandora’s Box 230, but it also works standalone with the included Schuko adapter.
The Mini Silkflame projects light onto a silk flame sheet, making it ideal for small fire simulations, especially where smoke is not desired. When combined with smoke, the Silkflame creates a stunning effect. Try using it without the silk sheet—the light shines through the smoke, creating a natural flame effect. By pairing the Silkflame with a FireSpot, you can create dynamic fire patterns that grow and shrink.
The Nimbo is the powerhouse of every simulation. Compact yet powerful, it generates the perfect amount of smoke for small fires. The smoke output matches the flame image, making the Nimbo your go-to for any fire simulation in a building.
To complete your setup, the Small Simulation Set includes a sample pack of smoke fluid. This pack contains four types of smoke fluid: “Fire Drill,” “Universal,” “Intensive,” and “Extreme,” so you can always create the perfect smoke effect for your scenario.
