Today at 10:00 it was time! Winfried Mutsaers and Roy Krassenburg from the Haaglanden Safety Region and Alexander van Eijk and Paul van Laarhoven from the Midden- en West-Brabant Safety Region arrived at FireWare in Wieringerwerf. And not just visiting, but for a course on maintenance and repair of smoke machines. Both theory and practice!
A large number of FireWare smoke generators are operational within both safety regions. In 80% of cases, a repair can be carried out faster than the time it takes to send a machine in. Repairing and maintaining it yourself is therefore a logical choice. Besides a lot of time, it also saves logistics costs and the machines are out of operation for less time. FireWare is happy to share its knowledge about smoke machines. That too is an example of an inspiring cooperation!
Theory and practice
After a short theory lesson, we mainly worked very practically. What are the most common defects and complaints and how can they be solved? How do you perform really good maintenance on smoke generators? How do you work together with a specialised technical service? How do you determine whether a certain defect is covered by warranty or not? All topics that were covered and practised on this day.
We all look back on a very successful day. And we are all convinced of one thing: by now working together even better, we can jointly ensure that the departments become and remain competent to use their smoke machines even longer and better!
Does your region also have a large number of FireWare training equipment in use? And do you want to perform maintenance and repairs yourself? And do you really want to cooperate? Then contact us for the possibilities!
