The Chemical Spill is a flexible silicone mat designed to look like a spilled or leaking liquid. The mat features an integrated flexible extension that is specially shaped to fit into the spout of a drum or jerry can. This creates the impression that the liquid is actually leaking from the container. Ideal for simulating a leaking drum, a liquid spill beneath an installation, or an unidentified substance on a street or inside a building.
Its realistic appearance encourages participants to recognise warning signs more quickly, assess the situation, and take the appropriate actions. Examples include stopping a leak, securing the surrounding area, containing or absorbing the substance, or treating a casualty who has come into contact with it.
